  • So the competition isn't really competition.

Ok. Here is my rant for the day.

I'm in orchestra at my high school. I am a very dedicated student when it comes to music and I practice my ass off to do as great as possible. And at first, it was recognized and respected by my conductor. Well lately, she began picking favorites. This girl, who is obviously not even close to me in the area of talent, is getting all of my glory because Miss. Conductor Bitch decided picking favorites was her game.

Everyone in our orchestra is VERY angry at this new way of doing things. I told both people what I think about this disrespectful act of favoritism. And of course, to no avail. I am so completely angry right now that I must admit, I'm very glad neither one of them live anywhere near me or I would be at their houses right now yelling a few chosen words that I can't exactly spew during school hours.

From now on, I'm not taking this constant game of favorites. I work hard for my positions and it's obvious that I deserve them. And every time I get stepped on and pushed down and demoted because of the fucking game of favoritism. Pardon my French.

    Je déteste stupide cul chiennes

    Au revoir.

  • Driving me CRAZY

    So this boy I like....
    IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!
One day, he's calling me whenever possible, calling me darling and telling me how much he misses me. Next day he doesn't even reply to my texts. Then the next day he's back to the "I miss you, You're adorable thing" all over again.
I'm so completely confused that I actually pulled out the nifty tarot cards to gain insight into his feelings. By the way you guys, they aren't Witchcraft tarot cards. So don't try to call me evil or anything. They are spiritual tarot cards. Not for predicting the future. They are for gaining insight into certain situations and they have been almost 100% accurate for me in the past.
And the cards read that he went through a period of serious betrayal and heartbreak, and right now he's confused because he's let his boundaries down and all of a sudden, his obsession with material things is starting to go away due to finding someone, but since he is so despairing, he is somewhat ignoring the person he found since he doesn't want to get hurt again. And then for the future it says that he wants to learn to get over it but it all sort of depends on what happens now.
Which sounded so completely accurate to the situation at hand. He always told me that stuff never worked out with girls and his last girlfriend left him for some guy she "fell in love with". And he mentioned the other day that his car is even more important than girls before turning to me and going "well...it used to be..."
    I just don't KNOW!!!
    It's so frustrating.
Anyone have any ideas for me?

  • The Aftermath of the Election [A Rant]

So to start this out, I am not an Obama supporter. Nor will I ever be considering we come from completely opposite ends of the board when it comes to political views. But I've started this off slightly astray from the actual subject I wish to discuss.
So I have seen one of the ugliest aftermaths of an election this year. Kids in my school who used to get along perfectly fine are arguing and fighting over a president. Teachers and advisers are arguing over whether Obama will make a good president or not. People are getting into physical fights over the new president elect. My little brother's TEN YEAR OLD friend got into a fight with a colored child who started calling him bad names and trying to hit him because of their parent's different beliefs.
I find this sad and quite frankly, embarrassing. This country is supposed to be united. We are supposed to have a high sense of national pride and unity. And the displays of despicable behavior I have seen are just showing other countries that we are as pathetic as they say we are. What are we teaching our children and the youth of America by trash talking every president we have? What is it proving to make t-shirts saying "Sarah Palin is a cunt"? And what makes me angriest is that while McCain spoke against displays of vileness towards Obama, Obama himself said not even a word against the men who wore that disrespectful and rude piece of crap.
But again, I'm not here to rant about the election. I'm here to rant about the behavior of the people due to the election. Please don't be one of those immature people who only rave on and on crudely about what they believe. Debating is always good, but keep it mature. Don't be one of those people who acts like they are 14 and cusses and name calls.

  • Swept off my feet.

So today I was utterly swept off my feet by what seems to be the guy I've been searching for for way to long.
For a date, he didn't try to impress me with a fancy dinner or even a movie.
He kept it simple, thus showing me how much I really like him.
We went out for ice cream. We then drove around talking about everything under the sky.
    It's amazing.
I never thought that I would be so completely stricken with a case of the giggles from just hugging someone.
But I like it. I sure do.
Hopefully this all works out for the best. If not, I've made a fantastic friend.
    =D

  • Bonjour. Comment allez-vous? Je m'appelle Chelsea. J'ai dix-sept ans. Haha. Sorry, just practicing my French. Hi, my name is Chelsea, AKA Chex. I'm 17. Quit frankly, Myspace sucks for blogging, so I'm going to start blogging here.
Recently I've had a lot on my mind. A lot of things that I want to say and don't feel I can on Myspace. So here I am on Xanga. If you are interested in reading some of the essays and rants I will write and then some of my poetry and short stories I'm working on.
So please feel free to talk to me about anything or comment on my work.
